Midwest Filtration can provide a wide range of HVAC filters in standard and custom sizes. We offer economy filters, as well as filters where higher efficiency is required. Our filters are used with:
Uni-Pleat Air Filters Series 40 is 100% synthetic media with an ASHRAE 52.1 average atmospheric efficiency of 25% to 30% and average arrestance exceeding 90% by weight. The 1" and 2" deep filters handle velocities up to 500 FPM and the 4" filters handle up to 625 FPM. The filter pack is enclosed in a heavy duty, moisture resistant, die-cut frame that will not crack or distort under normal conditions. The media is bonded to the metal grid on the air-exiting side to stop flutter and to maintain uniformity of the pleats.
The Uni-Pleat Series 40 when used as pre-filters substantially extend the life of more expensive high-efficiency filters. They are designed for both commercial and industrial use. Some other uses are hospitals, automotive plants, manufacturing facilities and pharmaceutical plants. They are well built, efficient and easy to handle. These filters are also available in standard and custom sizes in 1", 2" and 4".
These filters can be used without modification in side-access filter housing or built-up filter tanks. The Uni-Pleat series 40 filter media is engineered to provide maximum efficiency. Generally, the deeper the pleats the longer the time between change outs.
Polyester Throwaway Filters are constructed with synthetic fiber air filtration media. These filters are made with 100% high bulk polyester fibers that are thermo bonded with a fire retardant resin. Constant denier size of the fibers enables the media to attain a higher efficiency. Polyester synthetic fiber is extremely resistant to moisture and other environmental extremes.
The Polyester Throwaway Filters are designed for use in retail, commercial and industrial applications where recommended. Filters are available in standard and custom sizes of 1" and 2" thick.
uni-gold series 3-ply
Uni-Gold 3-ply Ring Panels & Links 15/40 are manufactured by Midwest Filtration for 2" applications where heavy dust holding capacity is required. This product is well suited for use with high velocity and in situations containing moisture. These filters are manufactured with a "selvage edge" to provide a positive seal preventing air by-pass which is commonly experienced with other filters.
The Uni-Gold 3-ply Ring Panels & Links are recommended for high-ambient dust applications including roof top units for hospitals, automotive plants, airports, schools and universities; and in commercial and industrial units as a pre-filter to a high-efficiency system. These filters can be used without modification in side access filter housing or built up filter banks.
1st Layer: The white entering side is 40-denier fiber, a relatively open matrix, to strain and hold large particles.
2nd Layer: A relatively denser 15-denier layer strains out the smaller particles.
3rd Layer: Our Uni-Gold 6-denier layer is needled to create a denser final layer. This layer acts as a final barrier to prevent the unloading of agglomerated particles from the first two layers. The inside seams are inverted to produce a self-sealing/supported pocket. Internal wire frames are 9 gauge wire coated with rust inhibitor with butt-welded joints. The media is rolled over the outside edges providing a positive seal and thus preventing air and particle by-pass.
uni-gold series 2-ply
Uni-Gold 2-ply Ring Panels & Links are manufactured by Midwest Filtration for 1” applications. These filters are made of two layers of gradient density providing excellent performance and dust holding capacity. They are used in commercial and light industrial application.

1st Layer: A dense 15-denier layer straining out small particles.
2nd Layer: Our Uni-Gold 6-denier layer is needled to create a denser final layer with a dry tackifier on the down seam side. This layer is the efficiency layer for smaller particles and acts as a final barrier to prevent the unloading of agglomerated particles from the first layer. Internal wire frames are 9 gauge wire coated with rust inhibitor with all butt-welded joints. The media is extended over the outside edge providing a positive seal and preventing air and particle by-pass.
Blue-White Polyester Media is the highest quality, single pay product on the market today with a nominal 1⁄2, 1, and 2 lafts. It is blue tinted and tackified on the down seam side.
Polyester is uniform in consistency, non-shredding, non-allergenic, non-carcinogenic, self-extinguishing, impervious to moisture and easy to handle. This media is manufactured using an “air laid” process, which gives the fiber a uniform web with no thin spots or voids. This process also gives the media exceptional strength in all directions. The graduated density polyester in combination with a tackifier applied on the downstream side greatly enhances the ability of this product to stop particulate versus dry polyester. Available in lofts of: 1⁄2”, 1”, 2”.
Blue-White Polyester Media is offered in a wide variety of filters to meet your filtration needs. Pad and frame systems will fit into your present filtration system without modification of existing hardware. These filters are widely used to replace most conventional permanent or disposable types of air filters. These filters are designed for use in retail, commercial and industrial environments.
